Kalyan is a major railway junction station on the Central line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is a major railway station lying at the junction of the north-east and south-east lines of the suburban Mumbai division of the Central Railway, 53 km north-east of Mumbai.It is one of the busiest railway station on India.It has halt for all the mail/exprsses trains.Their is demand for an upgradation of Kalyn jn station to an integrated railway terminal station,as Mumbai CST is already saturated to its limits.
